Quality Assurance
At Devoteam Guidance, we are committed to delivering only the highest quality of services, and are proud of
being the Training Center of choice for nearly 70% of the Top 100 Companies in Luxembourg and Belgium.
Devoteam Guidance has received the Luxembourg ICT Award for “Best IT Training Institute 2008”.
Sun Learning Services named Devoteam Guidance “Partner of the Year – 2008” for Central and Northern
Europe.
At Devoteam Guidance, we guarantee that all trainees will find:
Certified Education Services
Calling upon Devoteam Guidance means that you are served by a partner with 15 years of dedicated focus on
delivering high quality IT training.
Devoteam Guidance has been a Microsoft® Certified Training Partner since the program inception in 1994.
Devoteam Guidance was also the first, in both Belgium and Luxembourg, to meet the requirements to become
a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS).
Microsoft® has selected Devoteam Guidance on numerous occasions for launching their new products, as
recently as with the Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio® 2008 product launch.
Devoteam Guidance is the only training center in Belgium and Luxembourg to have earned the ‘Authorized Sun®
Education Center
’ certification.
Devoteam Guidance is recognized by the Luxembourgian State as an ‘Organisme de formation professionnelle
continue
’, and as such, its education customers can obtain tax reductions (crédits d’impôts) under certain
conditions. Authorization # 93506A.
Certified Instructors
The Devoteam Guidance instructors are certified not only for their technical skills, but also for their educational
skills
. They are regularly trained on new technologies, and on pedagogy.
Our instructors are also technology consultants who can use their field experience to illustrate the course.
Microsoft® Consulting regularly asks them to deliver consulting on .NET 2005, Windows Server 2003 and 2008,
Microsoft® Project Server, SharePoint Portal Server and SQL Server™ 2005, BI, Windows Vista®.
Sun® Authorized Education Centers all over Europe call on Devoteam Guidance instructors to deliver high quality
trainings on Sun® products.
Devoteam Guidance instructors also share their knowledge by writing articles, through their blogs and through
the Devoteam Guidance resource portal.
Operational Excellence
Each Devoteam Guidance location offers a wide zone of free parking space and is easily accessible by public
transport. A hot meal is included every day as are pastries and a broad range of drinks offered during the course
breaks.
Each participant works on an individual PC during the training to assure a hands-on experience. The classrooms
are well equipped with air-conditioning and internet access.
At the end of each course, participants fill a comprehensive evaluation form, which is then sent to a third party
instance that provides feedback to Devoteam Guidance. Thus can we guarantee that the high quality of our
courses is constant.

A case study is the foundation for implementing XPRESS, forms, rules, and provisioning workflows. This course is a prerequisite to
the IDM-4485 course for individuals who require additional experience customizing Sun Java System Identity Manager.
Sun Java™ System Identity Manager: Deployment fundamentals II 5 days
IDM-
4485
Sun Java System Identity Manager is a complete, highly scalable solution for managing, auditing, protecting, sharing and storing
identity data. It helps ensure ongoing and sustainable regulatory compliance, role-based provisioning, data synchronization among 3 975 €
multiple identity data stores, and end user self registration. In this course, a fol ow on to IDM-345, learn how to complete a four
phase deployment scenario. In phase three of the deployment scenario, students use Active Sync synchronization to synchronize
identity information between a data feed from the human resources (HR) department, an Active Directory instance, a Corporate LDAP
directory service, a contractor SQL database, and the Solaris operating system. In phase four of the deployment scenario, students
build an end user self-service provisioning strategy that lets contractors perform self-registration and lets contractors and employees
request system resources with resource approvals. Students implement the necessary forms, rules, and workflow to meet the business
requirements of the given case study and learn how to further customize the Sun Java System Identity Manager system.
