Kojima, famous for their wild seals, can be seen just offshore. The "bell
of love" called Bell Arch on the cape is popular among young couples.
Nemuro City
The long and narrow Nemuro Peninsula divides the Pacific Ocean and
the Sea of Okhotsk. Nemuro is Hokkaido's easternmost city. Right in
front of Cape Nosappu lie the Kurile Islands. Nemuro is a small provin-
