Requirements of Distant Education (DE)
Material
Material has to be apportioned into lessons and presented
concretely and consecutive. Has to be indicated how long is
this lesson. Material illustrated with examples. Important
terms highlighted (later references to dictionary or
another lesson will be made).
At the beginning of each lesson purpose of learning has to
be presented: what is this lesson about? what you will
learn? what kind of skills you will have?
Students self control tests have to be presented at the end
of each lesson. It can be 3 or more questions or practical
exercise. For the questions have to be presented answer
variants and correct answer.

Requirements of Distant Education (DE)
Material
Situations (scenarios) for each lesson can be presented,
will be animated later.
Main or complementary list of literature for each lesson
(or all material) has to be presented.
For each lesson (or all material) references to internet
sources has to be given (if are such).
A dictionary for all material has to be formed.
All material of course prepared by MS Word or
OpenOffice text editors at first.

What is WebCT?
WebCT is a software for creation of main
courses presented on internet or courses which
are complementary for traditional courses.
WebCT software runs on server, teachers and
students can use it with internet browser.
This software also provide a possibility to
change your course from all over the world if
you have connection to internet.

What is CDK?
CDK – is a tool for creation el. material (e-books
and distance education courses). Text, illustrations,
self-control questions and answers, video material or
sound can be converted to electronic form using this
tool. This form will be suitable for publishing on Web
or intranet. You can create qualitative course even if
you don’t know html language and don’t have good
IT skills. This tool runs on the Web server.
