While at Dartmouth, Vijay Iyer and Dafnis Prieto participated in classes in Dartmouth’s Mathematics,
Philosophy and Music Departments. Both musicians led master classes with the Barbary Coast Jazz Ensemble.
Mr. Iyer also participated in a public panel discussion with Dartmouth faculty about musical cognition and the
way the brain makes sense of rhythm and meter. Both the Vijay Iyer Trio and the Dafnis Prieto Sextet are partici-
