2009 Commercial Agriculture Subscription


Category I: Dairy/Livestock and Field Crops. Information on dairy, beef, swine, sheep, and field crop production.
Educational program provided by the Northwest New York Dairy/Livestock and Field Crops Program Team includes Ag
Focus
and Field Crops Topics newsletters along with meeting notices and special bulletins on farm business management.
Also included, a one-year subscription to Ag Alert. Subscription Cost: $50

Category II: Grapes. Information on viticulture. The Finger Lakes Vineyard Notes newsletter and updates, as well as Pest
Management Guidelines for Grapes, meeting notices and emergency mailings, are part of the education program provided by
the Finger Lakes Grape Program and are included in the subscription package. Subscribers receive a reduced registration price
to the Annual Grape Growers’ Conference and Trade Show. Also included, a one-year subscription to Ag Alert.
Subscription Cost : $60


Category III: Vegetables. Vegetable, potato and dry bean production and marketing information, meeting notices, educational
programs, 12 issues of Veg Edge provided by the Cornell Vegetable Program and one-year subscription to Ag Alert.
Twenty weekly issues of the special product PestMinder is available for an additional $40. Subscription Cost: $65


Special Products: Special products are NOT included in the enrollment package. These include:
PestMinder: A weekly publication (April - September) by the Cornell Vegetable Program containing timely pest control

and pest monitoring information for all vegetable crops.
Cost: $40

Cornell Guidelines: Provides current, research-based information on pest and disease control for each category listed above.
Cost: Varies
