TRANSCRIPT FOR
Sailor Moon - Episode 65: “Sibling Rivalry”
(Things have not been going well for Rubeus. At every turn, his efforts to capture Princess Rini and alter the
future have failed, and now, two of the Negamoon Sisters have turned against him. The Wise Man pays a visit.)
Wise Man
“I want a word with you, Rubeus.”
Rubeus
“Huh?”
Wise Man
“Two members of your team have deserted you, and the other two fight like scorpions. At
this rate, the Sailor Scouts might even capture me. You must get these two sisters back
if you ever want to capture the child.”
Rubeus
“Is that possible? How can I do it?”
Wise Man
“I have a new secret weapon. With it, you'll get them back the same way they were taken
away.”

(Rini is jumping through a pile of leaves Serena and the others have just swept up in Cherry Hill Temple's
courtyard.)
Rini
“Whee!”
Serena
“Stop that, you little larva. Do you know how long it took us to rake those leaves? Touch
one more leaf and you're a turkey burger.”
Rini
“Can you guys believe how badly this viper-tongued vulture treats me? I mean, I'm just a
kid, right? Every kid plays with leaves.”
Serena
“I'm warning you, Rini. One more leaf and…”
(Catsy and Bertie are helping out. Bertie, recenly converted, is amazed by the beautiful sights of the temple her
eyes are now open to.)
Bertie
“Oh Amy, I can't believe we tried to destroy this place. There's so much beauty and
tranquility here that I never saw before. And not to mention, the robes Raye wears are
beautiful. I just wish my other two sisters could understand how great a place this world
really is, you know? They're not really bad girls. They're just under Rubeus's influence.”
Amy
“Cheer up, Bertie. I'm sure they'll come around one day just like you and Catsy did.”
Bertie
“I sure hope you're right.”
(Meanwhile…)
Serena
“Now what are you doing, spawn?”
(Rini wolfs down a candy bar the way Serena does.)
Rini
“I'm imitating you, Serena.”
(She then burps in Serena's face, to her disgust.)
Serena
“Ew! You're toast! Burnt toast! Ya hear me?!”
(Serena chases Rini all over the temple grounds.)
Serena
“No more sleeping at the bottom of my bed…”

(From headquarters, the other two Sisters look on in disgust.)
Prisma
“Look at them, kissing up to those imbecillic human girls.”
(She bangs her fist against the Negamirror, but it doesn't break.)
Prisma
“Traitors. Grr!”
Avarie
“I know. I can barely stand to think we're realted to them, but it's the Sailor Scouts you
should be angry with. They're the ones who stole them away.”
Rubeus
“Avarie's right.”
(Rubeus has appeared.)
Rubeus
“The sooner they're outta my way, the better, and the sooner you'll get your sisters back.
The wise man's given me a way to break Sailor Moon's spell.”
Avarie
“Tell me what it is, Rubeus. I'll take care of them.”
Rubeus
“It's complicated.”
Prisma
“Then tell me. I'll handle the Sailor saps and get Bertie and Catsy back, too. They've
jeapordized our mission and your place in history. They're going to pay.”
Rubeus
“Pretty words, but how do I know you won't turn, too?”
Prisma
“I'll bet my wardrobe.”
Avarie
“Are you insane?”
Rubeus
“Think fast, then.”
(Quick as a blink, he tosses something at Prisma, which stops in front of her. It's a wand, decorated with a
Negamoon Crystal, that is constantly flashing light pulses.)
Prisma
“What's this?”
Rubeus
“It's the wise man's Negamoon Strobe. It'll multiply your strength ten fold, and it'll undo all
Sailor Moon's wretched Moon Healing. With it, you'll be stronger than all the Sailor
Scouts put together, and we'll finally get rid of them. Once they're gone, the kid and the
crystal are ours. Over and out! Mission accomplished!”
Prisma
“Got it.”
Avarie
“Huh?”
Rubeus
“Don't fail me again. I won't tolerate more failures.”

(Later, Avarie and Prisma discuss how to tackle the situation. The Negamoon Power Strobe floats in front of
them.)
Prisma
“Wow, this thing looks powerful.”
Avarie
“If you're scared to use it, Prisma, just hand it over. Wouldn't want a butterfingers like you
bumbling this mission.”
Prisma
“Nice try, sis, but Rubeus entrusted the Power Strobe to me, and that makes me the
commander of the mission. Got it?”
(Prisma takes the strobe, but Avarie tries to take it from her.)
Avarie
“Give me that.”
Prisma
“No!”
(Prisma wins out, but the tensions are rising between them.)

(Later, Serena chows down on some of those bars Rini had had. Rini herself is having her hair brushed by Catsy.
Bertie and Amy are playing chess, and Mina and Lita are watching Serena.)
Mina
“What a pork.”
Lita
“Serena, maybe you should slow down, huh?”
Serena
“I can't. They're too yummy.”
(Raye's got a surprise.)
Raye
“Those are Chad's weight gain bars. They've got a thousand cals each.”
(Oops. Chad eats them for the energy to build muscles.)
Amy
“And you had a double hot fudge sundae on the way here. Maybe you should take it easy
on the sweets. Your teeth are going to start falling out.”
Serena
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah…”
(Suddenly, Serena stands up and gasps. She sees something in the sky.)
Serena
“Did you guys see that? It looks like a star!”
(They all look up. Rini is scared.)
Serena
“Somebody get Rini outta here. Could be the Negamoon.”
(Suddenly, lightning erupts.)
Catsy & Bertie
“It's too late!”
(Catsy and Bertie try to shield Rini. Then, tentacles of light reach down and snare Catsy and Bertie. They pull
the two skyward.)
Rini
“No! Don't go there!”
Catsy
“Help us!”
Serena
“Wh-what?”
(Catsy and Bertie disappear into the light, which then streaks away.)
Amy
“They took them both!”
Mina
“Rubeus is behind this. We've gotta get 'em back!”

(Serena puts Rini in a closet for safety…and to hide their secrets from her.)
Serena
“Don't move 'til I come and get you, okay? You'll be safe here.”
(She closes the door.)
Serena
“Okay, guys. Let's get moving before we lose 'em.”

(It's Scout time!)
Lita
“Ready?”
(They all nod.)
Luna
“Be careful. This could be a trap.”

(Little do they know that Rini has already gotten out of the closet and is rushing to the door.)

“I've gotta see what's going on. What are they doing?”

(She reaches the door just as…)

“MARS STAR POWER!”

“VENUS STAR POWER!”

“JUPITER STAR POWER!”
Amy
“MERCURY STAR POWER!”

(Rini sees the whole thing!)

“Sailor Mercury!”

“Sailor Mars!”

“Sailor Venus!”
(Wait a minute. What about Serena?)
Serena
“MOON CRYSTAL POWER!”
(Now Rini knows the whole truth.)
Rini
“Sailor Moon!”
(Once they're set…)
Sailor Moon
“Ready?”
(They all nod. As they head off, Rini thinks about what she just saw.)
Rini
“They're the Sailor Scouts.”

(They run in the direction of the light.)
Sailor Jupiter
“So, you think we can find 'em?”
(Sailor Venus asks…)
Sailor Venus
“Did we lose 'em?”
Sailor Mercury
“I think I can home in on them from here.”
(She activates her scanning visor.)
Sailor Mercury
“I've been tracking them each time they appear.”
Artemis
“Just hurry, okay? Don't like leaving Rini alone too long.”
(But Rini's running down the street after them.)

(Prisma and Avarie take their unconscious sisters to a suspension bridge at the edge of the city. Catsy and bertie
are trapped in a spherical force field, and the sphere is floating high above the road.)
Avarie
“Okay, so what do we do with 'em now, Prisma? You just wave that over their heads and
transform them back to their old selves? Will they be willing to fight the Scouts if they
show up?”
Prisma
“Not that simple. Gotta talk to them first.”
Avarie
“Why? Why can't we just zap 'em good the same way Sailor Moon did?”
Prisma
“If you hadn't noticed, airhead, it only works if they're willing to change. Otherwise, we'll
just turn them into dust.”
Avarie
“And you think you can TALK them into going back to Rubeus? I'll do the talking.”
(Prisma swats her away with the strobe.)
Avarie
“Ow! Don't try that on them. It won't work.”
Prisma
“Quiet, Avarie! I know exactly what I'm doing. If I had been leader, we'd be long gone
from here.”
Avarie
“That's not true!”
Bertie
“Avarie…Prisma…”
(Bertie has regained consciousness. Catsy revives a few seconds later.)
Prisma
“So finally, the little traitors wake up.”
Catsy
“Why are you doing this, Prisma, treating us like prisoners?”
Prisma
“Because you're not to be trusted. You betrayed Rubeus.”
Catsy
“No, it's Rubeus who's the traitor. He turned us into vindictive monsters.”
Prisma
“That's rubbish.”
Avarie
“Don't you start trashing Rubeus, Catsy!”
Catsy
“Avarie, come on. We should be fighting for a peaceful future, not going for each other's
throats.”
Bertie
“Catsy's right. Remember how it was before we joined up with Rubeus? We were good
people, and we can be that way again.”
Avarie
“They sure put your brain through the wringer. Pretty soon, you're gonna ask us to throw
'em a tea party.”
Prisma
“Well, I've heard about enough of this hogwash. Welcome back to the Negalife!”
Sailor Moon
“Hold it! The only thing that's gonna change is your makeup.”
Bertie & Catsy
“It's Sailor Moon!”
Sailor Mars
“…and Sailor Mars, sworn to rat out evil…”
Sailor Mercury
“…and to protect our friends from evil…”
Sailor Jupiter
“…and guarantee 'em the chance for a happy future!”
Sailor Venus
“No one's stopping us, not even you slime sisters.”
Sailor Moon
“In the name of the Moon, we shall punish you! You are not taking our friends away.”
Sailor Scouts
“SCOUT'S HONOR!”
Prisma
“Hmph. What else would you expect from those goody-two -shoes Sailor saps?”
Avarie
“Well, this time, it's gonna cost ya.”
Sailor Mars
“You two harpies should listen to your sisters!”
Sailor Mercury
“You want Rubeus to always lead you around by the nose?”
Bertie
“Come with us, you guys!”
Avarie
“Turn goody-goodies like you? No thanks!”
Prisma
“Don't be tempted Avarie. It's a trick, but two can play that game!”
(The Negamoon Strobe amplifies the power of her Dark Thunder, creating a blast that literally rips the top of one
of the towers in half! Only a quick reaction saves the Scouts.)
Sailor Moon
“Woah, close one.”
Avarie
“That looks like fun, Prisma, but let me take a shot.”
Prisma
“Buzz off, Avarie! I'm having a blast!”
(She fires again…)
Prisma
“Have another one!”
(…and again! This assault is beyond anything the Sailor Scouts can deal with.)

(From a Negamirror in headquarters, Rubeus looks on with an evil smile.)
Rubeus
“Hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo. She got the hang o' that fast. That Prisma. You can count on her
in a catfight. Ha ha ha ha ha.”

(The Sailor Scouts are bring overwhelmed!)
Prisma
“Step right up! Take some more!”
(They're weak and exhausted.)
Prisma
“Had enough yet, Sailor wimps?”
Sailor Venus
“Are you kidding?”
Sailor Jupiter
“Yeah! We're just getting started! JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP!”
Prisma
“Not even close!”
(The amplified power of Dark Thunder easily defeats Sailor Jupiter's power.)
Sailor Moon
“You all right?”
Sailor Jupiter
“I think so, but that stick of hers has gotta go!”
Sailor Mercury
“I'll check it out.”
(But when she uses her VR visor, she finds…)
Sailor Mercury
“Woah, this is way beyond our technology. I can't even read what it's made of.”
Sailor Venus
“So we should try to destroy it. Right, Mercury?”
(She nods in reply.)
Sailor Mercury
“Yes, I think that's the only way we can win.”
Sailor Venus
“All right.”
(Sailor Venus tries her Love Chain.)
Sailor Venus
“VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!”
(Prisma gets out of the way and runs down one of the main cables at incredible speed.)
Sailor Venus
“Wow, she's fast!”
Sailor Mars
“I'll slow her down! MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!”
(Prisma bats the fiery rings away with the strobe.)
Prisma
“That's the best you've got?”
Sailor Mars
“NO!”
Prisma
“Ha ha ha ha. So long, Sailor saps!”
(She blasts them point-blank. They're all knocked unconscious.)
Prisma
“Ha ha ha ha ha! Ah ha ha ha ha! This is better than going shopping!”
Catsy
“Prisma, stop! Don't hurt them.”
Bertie
“They're our only hope for a peaceful future and real happiness.”
Catsy
“Listen to us, Avarie. Rubeus warped our thinking. There's more to life than vengeance
and power trips. Sailor Moon can make you your old self again.”
Bertie
“Let her heal you.”
Avarie
“Hey girls, it's not me that needs healing. You guys are definitely delusional, you know
that?”
Catsy
“No, you're wrong.”
Bertie
“Please, Avarie. Get us out of here! We really need to talk!”
Avarie
“You are pathetic. You're getting as sappy as your Sailor friends. No problem. When we
change you back, you won't even remember them. In fact, I think it's time we made them
just that: a memory. Whaddya say, Prisma?”
Prisma
“Hmm, good idea…starting with you, Avarie!”
(Prisma zaps Avarie, catching Catsy and Bertie in the backwash!)
Avarie
“AH! PRISMA, HOW COULD YOU?!”
Prisma
“All my life, I've had to share everything four ways, but not anymore. It's just me now!”
Avarie
“Oh, traitor!”
Prisma
“All the happiness I'll ever need is right here in this strobe. It's given me power beyond
imaginings, and if you think for one minute I'm letting one of you greedy, grasping sisters
lay one greedy hand on it, YOU'RE OUTTA YOUR MINDS! HA HA HA HA!”
Avarie
“Prisma, you can't mean that!”
Prisma
“Just think. No more hand-me-downs!”
(She zaps Avarie again. The blast also breaks the force field. Avarie, Catsy, and Bertie all tumble to the ground.)
Sailor Mars
“CATCH 'EM!”
(Even though they had just recovered from a major shock, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter hurry over. Avarie
recovers and floats, stopping her fall. Sailor Jupiter catches Bertie while Sailor Mars stops Catsy's fall.)
Sailor Jupiter
“I've got you, Bertie!”
Sailor Mars
“You all right?”
(Both Catsy and Bertie struggle to speak.)
Bertie
“Avarie…”
Catsy
“Someone help Avarie.”
(Avarie floats to the ground. She isn't in too good a shape herself.)
Avarie
“My own sister did this to me?”
Sailor Moon
“You okay, Avarie?”
Avarie
“Prisma's not this bad. You gotta believe me. The strobe's done this to her.”
Sailor Moon
“Don't worry about it, Avarie. We can make everything right again.”
Avarie
“You mean…you'd help me even after everything I've done to you, Sailor Moon?”
(She nods.)
Catsy
“You can trust them, Avarie. They're loyal, like sisters should really be.”
Bertie
“Oh Ave, we've missed you so much. It's so much nicer fighting for good and peace and
justice, so come on. Say you'll stay with us.”
(Avarie soon goes to tears.)
Avarie
“Oh, I miss you gys too, and all your lovely lipsticks.”
(Prisma's not taking this sitting down.)
Prisma
“Give me a break. If it gets any sappier, I'm gonna hurl.”
Sailor Moon
“Prisma! Oh, you should've made your escape while you had the chance!”
Sailor Jupiter
“Yeah, you're a fool if you think you can beat us just 'cause you've got that strobe stick!”
Prisma
“We'll see about that, girls. I can blow you to oblivion and back with this thing, just like
that!”
(Sailor Moon looks tough, but she's awfully nervous.)
Sailor Jupiter
“Look around, Prisma! You're outnumbered!”
Avarie
“She'll never give up. She was always the most stubborn…”
Sailor Moon
“What?!”
Avarie
“…and that strobe's made all her faults ten times worse along with her powers.”
Sailor Moon
“TEN times?”
Sailor Mars
“Then we'll have to superteam her. Okay?”
Sailor Mercury
“Attack her all at once. Right, Mars?”
Prisma
“Enough chitchat already!”
(They attack.)
Sailor Mercury
“MERCURY ICE STORM BLAST!”
(With the distraction…)
Sailor Venus
“VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!”
(The Love Chain knocks the strobe out of her hand.)
Sailor Venus
“Look! She dropped it!”
Sailor Jupiter
“JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP!”
(Without the strobe, Prisma can't defend against the Thunderclap. She drops to the ground, and the Scouts
celebrate.)
Sailor Jupiter
“All right!”
Sailor Moon
“We did it! Yes! Yes!”

(Some distance behind, Rini is still running to the bridge.)

(Meanwhile, Prisma's sisters are at her side.)
Catsy
“Prisma, are you all right, dear?”
Prisma
“Don't touch me! Are you happy now? I'm a failure like the rest of you.”
Catsy
“That's not true.”
Prisma
“Why do you say that?”
Rubeus
“You too, Prisma? Traitor.”
(Rubeus!)
Prisma
“No, Rubeus. Of course not.”
Rubeus
“Doesn't matter anyway. You were all a sorry, hopeless lot of pathetic failures, and badly
dressed, too. At least you've succeeded at putting yourself in one place. Makes it so
convenient getting rid of you in one easy swoop.”
Prisma
“Rubeus, you can't mean that.”
Rubeus
“Believe me, I do mean it. It was fun, Prisma, for a while…but you've outgrown your
usefulness. Enjoy your sisterly reunion. It'll be brief!”
(His eyes flash. The Negamoon Strobe begins to flash brightly.)
Sailor Moon
“What is he doing?”
(An energy field gathers around the strobe. Soon a circular piece of the bridge sinks down, the strobe on it.)
Rubeus
“You missed the strobe's greatest power, Prisma. You're about to encounter the Warp
Hole of Time.”
(He vanishes. The strobe and piece of bridge disappear. In its place is the Warp Hole of Time!)
Rubeus
“Enjoy the ride, ladies!”
(Some construction materials begin to be sucked into the warp hole.)

Rubeus
“So long, girls!”
(Meanwhile, Rini finally reaches the bridge…and feels the suction of the warp hole!)
Rini
“AAAH!”
(Meanwhile, Everyone is grabbing a cable (or someone else grabbing a cable) and holding on for dear life.)
Sailor Moon
“I don't know know if I can hold on, Luna!”
Sailor Venus
“The suction's too strong!”
Sailor Mercury
“The strobe's emitting some kind of suction beam to suck us into that hole! I have a
feeling it's some kind of time vacuum!”
Sailor Jupiter
“So…we could end up in another dimension!”
Sailor Mars
“Sailor Moon, what about your scepter?!”
Sailor Moon
“Luna?”
Luna
“I don't think so. It really only works on people.”
Prisma
“I know how to stop this thing! I still have strobe energy in my body. If I throw myself into
the hole, maybe the strobe'll explode! That should make the vacuum stop!”
(Prisma's going to sacrifice herself?)
Sailor Mercury
“You can't do that, Prisma! It's too dangerous! You might not survive!”
Prisma
“If we don't destroy this thing, none of us'll survive!”
(Prisma uses the last of her enhaced Dark Thunder and sends it into the hole. Nothing. She jumps.)
Prisma
“NEGAPOWER!”
(Suddenly, a whip catches her.)
Avarie
“Prisma!”
(Avarie had used her whip to stop Prisma.)
Prisma
“Avarie!”
Avarie
“Sisters gotta stick together. Wouldn't want you getting all the glory now.”
(This time, she was joking. She wanted to help. Catsy and Bertie soon grab on.)
Catsy
“Come on, Prisma! We've gotcha! Climb up!”
Prisma
“You'd do this for me?”
Catsy
“We're kind of peeved at you, but we know the strobe was what made you do that rotten
stuff.”
Bertie
“Besides, we won't be able to call ourselves the four sisters if you don't make it through,
so come on! Help us out here!”
(After a few seconds…)
Prisma
“Okay, get me outta here.”
(Bertie, Catsy, and Avarie all pull. This is all fine and dandy, but what about the hole? The bridge is starting to
crack from the stress!)
Sailor Moon
“Oh, I wanna go home!”
(Some of the road under the Sailor Scouts crumbles, leaving only the cables.)
Sailor Moon
“Oh, we're food scraps.”
Tuxedo Mask
“You can't give up now, Sailor Moon!”
(She turns. There he is, atop a crane.)
Sailor Moon
“Tuxedo Mask! Can you help us?”
Tuxedo Mask
“You've gotta beat this thing, Sailor Scouts! If you all pool your power, you can overload it
and shut it down!”
Sailor Moon
“You think so?”
Artemis
“Sure. What've you got to lose?!”
Sailor Moon
“Oh…”
Artemis
“We've got to let ourselves get sucked into the warp hole and then destroy the strobe
before we cross into the other dimension. You guys ready to do this? No guarantees.
It's bound to be dangerous.”
Sailor Jupiter
“You're asking us to go down into that thing?”
Luna
“Artemis is right. What have we got to lose? We can't hang on here forever. Let's do it.”
(They hesitate…)
Luna
“Come on, Scouts. Be strong!”
(…then they all jump into the warp hole!)

(The Scouts find themselves within time-space.)
Sailor Moon
“Woah, weird place.”
Luna
“No time to admire the atmosphere! We've got to find that strobe!”
Sailor Mars
“Up there!”
(It's right above them!)
Artemis
“Okay, guys! Join hands!”
Luna
“Now, concentrate all your energy to blow that thing to smithereens.”
(They link and unite their powers.)
Sailor Moon
“MOON CRYSTAL POWER!”
Sailor Mars
“MARS STAR POWER!”
Sailor Mercury
“MERCURY STAR POWER!”
Sailor Jupiter
“JUPITER STAR POWER!”
Sailor Venus
“VENUS STAR POWER!”
Sailor Scouts
“SAILOR PLANET POWER!”
(All their powers collect in one beam, which shoots straight up at the strobe, shattering it. As the strobe shatters,
the Sailor Scouts are thrown out of the limbo…)

(…and back onto the bridge.)
Sailor Moon
“Did it work?”
Artemis
“Yeah, sure did. The strobe shattered. No more vacuum.”
(What a relief.)
Sailor Moon
“Cool.”
(Then she notices…)
Sailor Moon
“Huh? Is Tuxedo Mask still here?”
(He's gone again.)
Sailor Moon
“Oh…”
Catsy
“Sailor Moon…”
Sailor Moon
“Huh?”
Catsy
“Can you heal our sisters? They're ready.”
Sailor Moon
“What?”
(Oh yeah. She nods, then raises her Moon Crystal Locket.)
Sailor Moon
“MOON CRYSTAL HEALING ACTIVATION!”
(Prisma and Avarie are freed of the Negamoon's influence, and Rini makes another shocking discovery.)
Rini
“Don't believe it. Serena's Sailor Moon, and she's got the crystal.”

(Back at headquarters, Rubeus is ticked off.)
Rubeus
“THEY DESTROYED THE STROBE, AND THEY DESTROYED MY TIME WARP!
THOSE WRETCHED SAILOR SCOUTS! I'M GONNA GET YOU FOR THIS, SAILOR
MOON! YOU'LL PAY!”
(And he punches a Negamirror, cracking it.)

(All toghether now, the Sisters start a new life.)
Lita
