invite you to attend a dinner
featuring New York Times best-selling author
Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
Saturday, March 7th at 6 p.m.
Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni is an award winning poet and author. Her books have
been translated into twenty languages, and her work has been included in over 50

Divakaruni will speak about her work and her new novel, The
Palace of Illusions, which takes us back to a time that is half
history, half myth, and wholly magical. Through her narrator
Panchaali, the wife of the legendary five Pandavas
brothers, Divakaruni weaves a vibrant interpretation of
the Mahabharata, one of the major epics of ancient India.
Copies of The Palace of Illusions will be available for
purchase at the event and the author wil be on hand to
sign copies of her book. Books may be purchased by credit
card or check only. The hardcover is $23.95 and the
