The European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) is a non–for-profit scientific
associated founded in 1983 to promote interdisciplinary research at the European as well
as at International level. E-MRS is also a founding member of the International Union of
Materials Research Societies (IUMRS), member of ICSU.
