Some of Our Tutors
Rob Thakur
Rob qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, following his degree in Economics and Econometrics.
He went on to work in the fields of corporate finance at KPMG and structured products at Citibank, before
moving into financial training. Prior to joining 7city he was head of in-house training at another major financial
training provider, specialising in derivatives. Rob is a holder of the CAIA designation and a member of the
CAIA Association.
Azmi Özünlü
Azmi is a CFA charterholder and also holds the FRM designation. He studied Economics and German at Davidson
College, USA, as a Fulbright Scholar, before completing an MBA from Western Carolina University and an MSc in
Economics at the University of Kentucky. He lectured in finance for more than four years at undergraduate level
at the University of Kentucky and the Eastern Mediterranean University before becoming Regional Manager for an
investment advisory consultancy, Consulco International, in Cyprus, where he was responsible for developing the
Turkish clientbase.
Richard Fernand
Following completing a law degree, Richard successfully completed his Bar Finals at Inns of Court School of Law.
He qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) at Arthur Andersen, before working for UBS Warburg as part of their
mergers and acquisitions team, specialising in global industrials. Richard is a CFA charterholder.
